As a Contributor, you operate your own store. You decide if you want to sell your scripts and apps on the site.
We encourage you to share scripts with the community for free as much as you can, but if you’ve worked weeks on a tool, it’s fair to be rewarded for your efforts. We therefore only ask you to consider a few things.
- 1. Set the right price based on market value for similar products. Also consider that if you can vibe code the product, so can others – if they spend the time.
- 2. This site costs money to maintain, run, and market. We ask for a small commission to cover our admin costs.
- 3. By selling software, you expose yourself to customers’ legal rights, customer service, and product updates. You, as the software developer, would be responsible for these.
- 4. Do it for pocket money. Don’t plan on becoming a billionaire from selling scripts!
