Where we've been, and plan to go, together!

For many of us, who have been in this content creation game a long time, off-the-shelf software has never delivered all of our creative needs or ambitions. For that, we needed to extend the tools using bespoke plugins, scripts and apps developed in-house or by 3rd party developers.

It takes time for software engineers to write code properly, similar to a novelist writing a best-seller. Over the years, artists, studios and companies have tailored their software requirements with proven production pipelines, built and refined to deliver at scale, with exceptional visual quality.

How can we improve existing pipelines and working practices with no coding experience?

That’s where we, as vibe coding collaborators, discovered we have all been working independently to fulfil these ambitions.

Vibe coding requires little to no coding experience, feeding the ‘vibe’ of what you wish to create into a human-interactive agent (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc), allowing it to build the tool to your iterative requests and direction.

The benefits of vibe coding are immediate. Now, anyone can make custom tools, workflow enhancements, and productivity apps. Every person can become a bespoke workhouse. I imagine this might have been similar to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, with thousands of cottage factories crafting their own tools of the trade, bespoke to their specific requirements or conditions.

AI production, to some extent, shifts the emphasis of creative work to the preparation of datasets to be fed to AI systems to output results. From sketches, storyboards and animatics, to 3D models and scene assembly.

We built this website to concentrate on the established production process only.

The human-centric relationship of crafting ideas using computer technology as tools of the trade. Depending on what your trade is, motion design, architecture, visual effects, interior design, or visualisation, we aim to gather experienced professionals who vibe code and make their products available to you, accessible from one location.

We will share knowledge on the  blog of our experiences with vibe coding, tips and frustrations, interviews with contributors, and fun stuff, for anyone interested in learning more about vibe coding for the creative industry.

We aim to provide the community with tools they benefit from directly, made by industry peers. We hope the knowledge we share inspires others to vibe code and want to share their ideas as well by joining us as a contributor.

Time will tell if what we do remains relevant, and if the creative industries remain recognisable in their creative production workflow. Given that Moore’s Law is effectively dead in the age of AI, I'll assume we now have to prove ourselves in less than two minutes.

The proof of everyone's vibe coding endeavours is in the downloadable products.

Finally, please leave product reviews - to support the collaborators!
