Downloading Products
Each of the collaborators is passionate about making vibe coded stuff, toiling and tinkering away for hours on creative ideas and ambitious projects, that can now be realised with the advancements in AI. As creatives, and not software engineers, making these ideas into reality is liberating. To the extent that vibe codering detox may become a thing!
Shared Values
As creative artists, designers and producers, the collaborators wish to share their vibe coded creations and knowledge to benefit others in the industry.
3ds Max Products
Licensed 3ds Max products require the shared Sinilab.ai Product Licensing components supplied with the purchase.
These components provide the common runtime and customer-facing Product Licensing interface used by integrated 3ds Max products.
The customer should:
1. Install the supplied Sinilab.ai platform package or packages.
2. Install the purchased 3ds Max product.
3. Restart 3ds Max where required.Open the Sinilab.ai
4. Product Licensing interface.
5. Enter the product licence key and activate when requested.
6. Close Product Licensing and open the product.
The Collaborator product may ensure that the required shared components are present, but it must not replace them with a product-specific licensing system.
Blender Products
Blender products integrated into the Sinilab.ai ecosystem require the Sinilab.ai Blender Host.
The Blender Host provides the shared interface in which Collaborator products are organised and presented.
For products using Host-managed Sinilab.ai licensing, the Host also provides the customer-facing activation and licensing interface.
The customer should:
1. Install the Sinilab.ai Blender Host.
2. Install the purchased Blender product or Provider.
3. Restart Blender where required.
4. Open the Sinilab.ai Tools Host.
5. Activate the product if requested.
6. Select the product beneath its Collaborator and Host Category.
The Collaborator product must not include its own modified copy of the Blender Host.
Platform Files and Licence Keys Are Different
A platform entitlement and a product licence key serve different purposes.
Platform Entitlement
Provides access to the shared Sinilab.ai files required to install and operate the product.
Product Licence Key
Authorises the customer to use a specific licensed product or application variation.
Receiving the platform files does not automatically license every product supported by that platform.
Likewise, possessing a valid product licence key does not remove the need to install the required platform components.
For products using Host + Sinilab.ai Licensing, the customer normally receives both:
- The required platform downloads.
- A licence key for the purchased product or variation.
For Host Only products, the required Host may still be provided, but a Sinilab.ai licence key is not required
Troubleshooting - If you install the Product First
The product may fail to appear, open or validate if its required platform component has not been installed.Ask the customer to:
1. Return to the completed order or My Account → Downloads.
2. Download the required Sinilab.ai platform files.
3. Install the platform component or components.
4. Reinstall the Collaborator product if required.
5. Restart the target application.
6. Open the appropriate Host or Product Licensing interface.
7. Activate the product where required.
The customer should not need to purchase the platform component separately.
