Licence Requirements
This tool requires an active SiNi user account and a valid licence.
Supported Licences
- All Access Subscription
- IgNite Subscription
- Forensic (Free) Licence
The script will not function unless you are logged into the SiNi Desipher Licence Manager within 3ds Max.
If a valid licence cannot be found, functionality will be disabled until a licence is activated.
Activating Your Licence
- Create a SiNi account at SiNiSoftware.com.
- Download the latest SiNi installer.
- Install SiNi into your version of 3ds Max.
- This installs the SiNi Desipher Licence Manager.
- Launch 3ds Max.
- Open the Desipher Licence Manager.
- Sign in using your SiNi account credentials.
- Once your licence has been validated, the script will become available for use.

Installing the MacroScript Version

- Extract the ZIP file.
- There are three options to install MacroScript .MZP files.
– Drag and Drop the MacroScript .MZP file into a 3ds Max viewport.
– Run the Script from the Command Panel; Utilities/MAXScript/Run Script.
- Open Customise → Customise User Interface.
- Select the Sinilab_Scripts category.
- Drag the tool onto a toolbar, quad menu or menu.
MacroScript Controls
Single-Click the toolbar icon to apply the default setting.
Shift-Click the toolbar icon to open the UI and make adjustments. The settings will be saved as the default.
Rollout Reference

Moves selected objects or groups to the world origin.
Objects
Displays the number of selected objects.
Groups
Displays the number of selected groups detected in the current selection.
Center
Moves the pivot to the centre of the object before moving it to the origin.
Base
Moves the pivot to the lowest point of the object before moving it to the origin.
Preserve Relative Positions
Moves the entire selection as a group while maintaining the spacing between objects.
When disabled, each object or group is moved individually to world origin.
Preserve Z Positions
Moves the entire selection as a group while maintaining the objects Z position.
When disabled, each object or group is moved to the selection centre or base – if checked.
Move To Origin
Moves the selected objects to world origin using the current settings.
Typical Workflows
Move Multiple Objects Together

- Select multiple objects.
- Enable Preserve Relative Positions.
- Enable Preserve Z Positions.
- Click Move To Origin.
- The selection is moved to world origin while maintaining spacing and Z position.
Move All Assets to Origin

- Select the asset.
- Enable Base.
- Uncheck Preserve Relative Positions.
- Uncheck Preserve Z Positions.
- Click Move To Origin.
- The asset pivot is set to each object’s base, and all are moved to world origin.
Troubleshooting
Why does only one object move?
Disable Preserve Relative Positions if you want each selected object moved independently.
Why has my pivot changed position?
The Center or Base options are enabled. Disable both options to keep the existing pivot position.
Why is the Move To Origin button disabled?
The tool requires a valid SiNi licence. Log in through the SiNi Desipher Licence Manager and verify your licence is active.
